Transfer Payment ONtario (TPON) & Service Plan Support Session - Session 1

Every year the Ontario Works Administrator (OWA) or delegated staff are required to submit funding request to the Ministry of Children Community, and Social Services (MCCSS) through Transfer Payment ONtario (TPON) to receive funding to deliver their programs.  

First Nations that deliver both Ontario Works financial assistance and employment assistance (Full Delivery Sites) are also required to submit, and update the Service Plan every 2 years.  This will be required for 2025-2026 submission.  

ONWAA is offering 3 (1) hour sessions for the following dates:

Join us on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10:00 am - 11:00 am CST/11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST                                                                                               This session will provide particpants with information on 2025-2026 service contract process and how to navigate and access the SA Extranet to retrieve the Ontairo Works (OW) Budget Package and Service Plan template.  We will be downloading the forms.  We will be having a group Q & A session. 

Learning Outcomes

• Participants will navigate and understand the OW service contract process (timelines and program requirements for 2025-2026);
• Participants will be able to access and download the necessary forms and troubleshooting common problems;
• Participants will be able to upload the OW budget package and Service Plan;
• Participants will be equipped with troubleshooting skills and know how to access additional support resources.
